HONEYWELL HMC5983

Last born of the HONEYWELL magnetoresistive sensors family dedicated to compass applications. This component takes the architecture of the HMC5883L with 3-axis, including analog and digital ASIC. The data output rate will go up to 220Hz, ideal for the motion sensing applications.
It includes a new communication bus by SPI 3 or 4 wires.
Improvement of the I²C speed from 400 kHz to 3,4 MHz.
Improvement of the temperature sensore for a best compensation and possibility to get the temperature value.

Samples already available.
Mass production in November 2011.

EPSON (MCU)

Epson offers a wide variety of different microcontrollers all incorporating one of Epson's original CPUs.

The S1C60/62/6S series includes a 4-bit, the S1C88 series an 8-bit, the S1C17 an 16-bit and S1C33 series a 32-bit core. In addition there is a wide variety of peripherals available to build a complete microcomputer system: RAM, ROM, LCD-drivers/-controllers, I/O-ports, serial interfaces, etc. All our microcontrollers are fabricated in highly developed process technologies. This enables Epson to serve all our customers with extremly power saving products.

For all the microcontroller families Epson provides its own in-circuit emulators and all the needed software tool chains to sucessfully support the customer's development of any microcomputer system using either a 4-, 8-, or 32-bit CPU core.
